Our first conversation is about understanding you — your motivation, your goals, and whether franchise ownership truly makes sense for this next chapter. A clear reason for exploring business ownership creates the foundation for everything that follows.

You will complete the Zorakle Spot On assessment, a widely used franchise-industry tool that helps identify values, work style, communication patterns, and strengths. We use those insights as a starting point to understand which types of franchise models may fit you best.

In this conversation, we build your search criteria for an ideal business. Many candidates begin with one brand or category in mind, but through this process they often discover better-fit opportunities they would not have considered on their own.

If funding needs to be part of the conversation early, I can connect you with a trusted franchise funding specialist for a no-pressure consultation. Together, we decide the right timing and whether that step should happen before or later in the brand evaluation process.

After completing research, I present three to five franchise options that align with your goals, lifestyle, and investment range. We review what each business looks like at a high level, where it fits well, and where it may not, then narrow the list to the strongest next steps.

Once you are introduced to a franchisor, the deeper evaluation begins. I stay alongside you as you learn about the business model, ownership role, systems, support structure, territory, and operating realities so you can move forward with your eyes open.

This is where you speak with existing franchise owners and verify what you have learned. These conversations matter because they provide real-world perspective, practical expectations, and firsthand insight from people who were once in your position.

Discovery Day gives you the opportunity to meet the franchise leadership team directly. By this point, the major questions should be answered, and both sides can determine whether the relationship feels like the right long-term fit.

If the franchise decides to award you a territory, this is the point where you sign the agreement, pay the franchise fee, and begin the opening process. It is an exciting step, but it should only happen after the process has given you full clarity and confidence.
